Reia wrapped her arms around herself, wishes he had thought to bring her jacket instead of relying on her sweater for warmth... It hadn't felt this chilly when she walked into the doctors office this morning, but 4 hours of waiting in the clinic to get a doctors note and instructions to rest had certainly changed things. With a small since she looked up to the clouds, they were dark and threatening to pour... wasn't that just fucking great... bad enough she had to take the night off the two jobs she was suppose to be working tonight, pay 100 bucks for the notes to give to those places since it was their policy but now she was going to get soaked and it was a hell of a walk back to her place with how sore and tired she already was.
Reia would begin to walk down Trade street since it was the safest path to her place, even if it was longer and she would take a deep breath her mind wandering to the conversation she had had with Ehnvee three days ago... she was going to be a vampire, she would have to find a male to feed from...did she also need to find a new doctor ? that was going to suck, it had taken her forever to find one that was accepting patients that was covered under her bare minimum insurance. Would she want to have relations with the male or should she wait so that it wasn't a chemical thing?
Her mind wasn't with her as she walked along the long ago memorized route, thinking along everything she was going to have to try to remember and adjust to...questions she was going to have to ask Ehvee. She didn't know how long her attention had been else where but it didn't return to Trade street till she got doused in water from a car taking a sharp corner and she grumbled to herself.
" Seriously! " She ran her fingers down her clothing, her hair plastered to her face her clothes starting to stick to her skin as she looked up realizing she still had 15 minutes if she hurried 25 if she didn't, god this was going to suck like the rest of today.

Vahlour was walking down the street ... he needed to be walking right now. He had found out .. that his father ... had been killed ... an not too long ago either. All these years ... and he would never get the chance to meet him .. or get the chance to see if he could make his father proud. Course there was also the fact that ... it hurt his mother .... she was looking forward to seeing him again after so long as well.
Vahlour sighed as he continued to walk down .... and saw a female ..... pretrans if his nose was telling him right, was splashed by a car ... seemed like he wasn't the only one having a crappy day. He would move up to her ... and he took off his jacket. It was warm ... and well should help her get warm till she got a new pair of clothes, "My car isn't too far away ... you want a ride to ... wherever?"

Reia took a deep breath shaking her arms off and she groaned wrapping her arms back around herself, she had been about to start walking again when she heard someone else's voice out on the street and she didn't see anyone other than her so she looked up till she spotted the male. Reia looked to him blushing a little bit since she knew her white wife beater and the white sweater she had over it were partially see through and she would glance around, she didn't' want to get in the car with a stranger but she was so tired, she had dark circles around her eyes which were bloodshot from a lack of sleep and general achiness and she would take a breath, it would get her home faster... to bed... she really wanted to get into bed...or a hot bath....something other than being in the freaking rain!
" I h... " she bit her bottom lip clearly struggling with the idea of getting into the car " no strings" she didn't want to offend him but she had to ask, last time she accepted a ride from someone they had tried to take advantage of her and she had just managed to get the hell out of their before things got bad so now she was extremely leery...not to mention she tended to have really really bad motion sickness it was why she hated cars or well most transportation.
"If there are no strings, then yes please...I would be very gre...grateful" she had to fight with that word since it was a car and he was a guy and she was one of those social awkward types.

Vahlour looked to her ... and she seemed to be ... nervous ... and well more than a little leary. He would pass her his jacket ... and blink, "Strings? Why would their be strings ... unless you live out of state .... that's a bit long of a drive than I'm quite willing to do at the moment." He smiled ... though he doubted that she lived that far away.
"No strings ... just will get you home ... or wherever it is that you need to go ... and out of the rain ... you look tired and like you're freezing." He smiled to her ... and if she was still willing ... then he would shake his head a little bit as he led her to his car ... which was actually a H2 hummer....it was glossy black with blue/green flames ... they looked real ... and the custom paint job was obviously expensive.
He would help her into the passenger side ... and would get in, "Well Reia ... it's nice to meet you .. I'm Vahlour....son of Darius." He smiled ... and well he would normally offer her some food ... but ... he didn't know anyplace in town with any pretrans friendly food.

Reia looked to his car when they got around the corner, and she would shake her head , that wasn't really a car.... not in her mind it was more like a tank, or an apartment on wheels since she was pretty sure it was nearly as big as her whole apartment...of course she was exaggerating but by how much she didn't quite know yet.
" Thank you" she blushed as he gave her a hand up into the vechile and she was short enough it was really up into the thing, and she kinda felt more like a kid now then ever but at least that should stop him from thinking other things like the last group.
" Wha...what are you... doing out...in th..the rain?" she figured conversation might make her more comfortable. At the very least it would take her mind off the crappy day she was having.

Vahlour would help her in ... since .. it was a bit tall ... making it hard for her to get in on her own. "You're welcome ... and what was I doing in the rain." It wasn't really a question as he started up the hummer ... and it was quiet ... but ... it was a very powerful engine. He got the heaters going as he turned up the fan to get as much heat in as possible.
"I needed a walk ... to help clear my mind ... having a bit of a crappy day." He shook his head as he leaned back ... closing his eyes, "Though I'm sure that there are those with worse." He took a breath and looked over, "How about you? Though ... I don't think you are out there so much by choice."

Reia was sitting rigid in the front seat, her hands all but digging into the seats as she kept her eyes closed, however she made sure to nod her head so that he knew she was listening. Though she couldn't keep the disappointment out of her scent when she found out that the story wasn't longer " I...I'm sorry " she would look down to her lap trying to force her eyes to open so she could tell him how to get to her place.
"Sorry... you are having a bad day" she would take a breath and force one eye open looking up " Do you know where West Cadwell apartments are " she didn't know if he would, and she was hoping he did so she could close her eyes again but if he didn't she would start relaying instructions a few at a time.
" I ha..had a doctors appoi..ntment for a note for work, well notes for works" she shrugged " it didnt look like it was going to rain when I left so ... didnt think to grab my jacket or umbrella" she flushed a little bit.
" Are you new to town.. you do..don't sound like you are from here"

Vahlour could smell that she was ... scared ... and well looking over he could see that she was quite ... tense. Course after he answered she smelled ... disappointed ... why would she be disappointed? He would take a deep breath as he shook his head, "Nothing for you to apologize over ... just ... well ... wanted to meet my father ... and apparently he has died a little while ago."
He didn't really want to talk about it all that much, "Doctors appointment huh ... what's wrong if you don't mind me asking?" Anything to get off the topic of his father right now. He would ... put in caldwell apartments in the GPS system ... and start heading there. "Yea ... just got in a few days ago .... I was born in India. But ... have gone all over the eruasian continent."

Reia looked over to him and she would sigh " I'm sorry about your father" she would glance to him and then to the window she was clearly uncomfortable, and a big part of that had to do with he was a guy and they were in a car. She would sigh glancing over to him and he didn't know why but she just couldn't help but think he was a vampire so she may as well answer the question truthfully.
" I am getting closer to my transition according to my friend anyway... and I am really tired and didn't think I could handle a 16 hour work day so I went to the doctors to get a note for both places and some sleeping pills to see if it would help me get through the nights since I am having a hard time sleeping because my stomach almost always hurts" she would shrug a little glancing over to him and then down to the hands in her lap
" Which I didn't know till well yesterday or the day before...they are sorta blurring together... I had just assumed my mother who was human and called my father a demon all my life was lying and well off her rocker but I guess she was just partially in the rocker when she died" she shrugged figuring she may as well complete the story ... but that was when it occurred to her that she had never talked this much to a guy! And she hadn't stuttered... much maybe she was out of it or her brain was slipping on what it want to do
" Must be nice, I'm from here born and raised"
It would only an 8 minute drive to her place and they weren't luxurious apartments but they weren't the bottom of the barrel either and she would slowly undo her seat belt taking a deep breath, she survived the tank ride and she was thankful for that she had already dried off so she was appreciative. " Um, thank you for the ride" she would offer a smile before she would look to him and around suddenly very conflicted, her scent giving it away.
" I... I wa.s....going to uh " she paused trying to steady herself " I was going to.. mmake dinner...a.nd tea would ou... like to come up?"

Vahlour would nod to her, "Thank you." He listened to her story .. and she had pretty much just learned she was a vampire .. new knowledge ... must be more than a little frightening. "Well I can smell that you are close ... though whether it'll happen today .. tomorrow ... next month ... well that's up to your body. Work ... I would suggest not working at all if you can help it. And there is nothing that a human doctor can help you with."
She sounded nervous ... and well why wouldn't she ... this was a huge deal ... he thought she had all the knowledge ... but ... apparently not. They got to her place and he would nod, "You're welcome ... and ... what are you making for dinner?" HE wanted to see if she knew what kind of food that she needed to eat....the pretrans stomach was a delicate thing. "I'll come up ... and I'LL make you dinner." HE would shake his head as he locked his car ... and went up with her.

Reia would shake her head a little bit " I have begun to think I am going to have to use my Vacation time... but I like to try and not use it so that they pay it out... but I guess it wont help me if I don't make it through... I still have to find a male...my friend has been trying to find someone but neither of us know too many ... we are kinda the loner types" she blushed and she would slide herself out of the car hoping she didn't face plant on the drop down.
" I was going to make Rice and Beef in a ginger sauce since it is the only thing that I have found that doesn't make me sick... and even that is hit and miss sometimes... I can't wait for this stupid thing to be done so I can get back to well normal" she guessed would be the best word for it and she would take a deep breath why was she talking to much... he must think she was a total twit at this point.
" Oh ah.. um yo..you do..n't have to...I was..offering..a.s a... thank you" she stumbled through the sentence.
She would pull her keys out of her back pocket and she had a Fairy Tail figure ( Gray) dangling from them and she would blush a little looking over her shoulder " I am a nerd I apologize and my place is kinda small but if you really want to cook I will not stop you.." she must have been really tired and she smelt surprised at what came out of her mouth.
She moved up the stairs to her apartment door and opened it. She wasn't kidding it was the bare basic apartment and she had not great furniture it was not low low but it was clear she didn't spend her money on her belongings and she would look to him blushing " come on in "

Vahlour would chuckle, "It's hard to put in vacation time for it ... since we don't know when you'll hit your transition. And when you hit it. .. you aren't going to be able to do anything ... and you don't exactly want to be forced to go to a human hospital." He would shake his head at her predicament .. and well ... it would be hard all things considered, "Well do you have a cellphone? I'll put my number in it .. and you give me your number ... that way ... I can be your guy when the shit hits the fan."
He would head upstairs ... though .. he had to admit that the figurine made him chuckle, "It's a good anime series ... no one is hotter than Erza." He would wink to her .. and well it was a basic apartment ... so it wasn't like she could afford to lose much work ... course ... it wasn't like she would be able to get back to her old job anyway once she did hit her transition. "Thank you." HE would look and see what she had ... and would start cooking.
"So ... tell me everything you know ... about vampires ... and your upcoming transition."

Reia couldn't help but show the surprise on her face as he mentioned Ezra, there was a moment of pause before she blushed licking her lip as she moved through the front door " She is one of my regular cosplays" she left it there, and hoped that it wouldn't terrify him or make him think of her as a child like it seemed to do for so many. Her apartment was simple but there was hints at her nerdism everywhere, she had video games, posters for anime up and some figurines along with steam punk stuff. She held her hand out " would you like me to take your jacket"
If he had one she would put it in the closet before pointing out her tiny kitchen " it should have a fair bit in it, I usually keep it stocked full of fresh stuff " she would move to the couch and sit down on the broken spot so that he wouldn't... she didn't think it was fair and she really didn't want to be embarrassed by it either, he had an expensive car and had money clearly.
" I know that I am going through my transition, I know that I will have to feed from males and that I will not like sun light afterwards...that is about as far as my knowledge goes on the subject... why is there more to know?" she was curious about what else she would have to know, and with ease she slipped on her thick frames glasses taking out her contacts and grabbed pen and paper so that she could try and remember whatever he had to tell her.

Vahlour was cooking up the food and he would grin, "Well you have the hair for it." And he wasn't going to point out that she didn't have the cleavage ... but that was fine ... she was a pretrans afterall ... there would be a lot of changes after she went through her transition.
She would take off his jacket ... putting it into the closet as he looked to the pots. "Well it's nice ... I should be able to make you a meal to settle your stomach ... and nutritious enought to help you through your transition."
She talked about what she knew ... and he shook his head, "Well they scratched the surface whoever told you ... so ... well I'm going to tell you a few things .... and well you might not like what you are going to hear." He was mixing and seasoning as he was talking. "The transition will be the most painful experience of your life ... everything will hurt ... and not just a little bit. Your body is going through a major ... and fast change. And it isn't uncommon for people to die in their transition." He would let that sink in.
"Now after your transition you will be very strong, your sense will heighten ... and well ... you're half human ... which there is not problem with ... but you may tolerate sunlight .. maybe not ... you may be able to dematerialize ... but maybe not ... half human half vampires are hard to completely predict." He would think a little bit, "Do you have any questions?"

Reia would listen to everything he had to say, her eyes going between watching him move in her kitchen and the paper she was taking notes on to make sure that her printing was still legible, sometimes she turned it into scribble when she was trying to keep up or if she didn't look down at her paper from time to time, and she was nodding so that he would know she was listening as well. And she would think about it, to see if she could think of any questions, but it was so hard to think of what to ask... it wasn't like you were taught a whole bunch about Vampires in high school.
" I uh... so I could die even if I have help... um because I am half human it means I may be able to handle daylight that would be convenient for keeping my three jobs." she would look down at her paper, biting her bottom lip, as she tapped on her paper trying to think of some more questions to ask.
" What about getting married, could I still go into the church if I wanted to...and no I don't but just curious... and then um ... what about children? I'm not going to make like nasty sticky eggs like in Van Helsing am I?" she was a little worried because if that was the case just take her freaking pipes out... she was not passing those eggs through anywhere!
