Mmm, the smell of fried cheese and freshly made sizzling fajitas filled Mary's nose as she walked into TGI Friday's. She glanced around quickly to see if Rhage had beat her here, and almost frowned when she saw he wasn't there yet. But that was okay, she had Beth help her dress up for tonight and knew he'd be in a total state of shock seeing her dressed like this. "Welcome to Fridays!" Mary cocked a half-smile at the new hostess, obviously she hadn't been here long enough to see that Mary and Rhage were here every Wednesday night.
"Thanks, um can I get the table up by the bar next to the entrance?" The girl nodded with a swift "sure" and gathered a menu up. "I'll need another menu as well, please."
"Oh! Expecting someone?" Mary nodded politely with a smile and the girl picked up a second menu, guiding Mary to her usual table. As she slid in and crossed her legs, the menu was put in front of her and she smiled. "Your server should be right with you." With that, the hostess almost bounced back to her stand and Mary let out a small laugh. Give her a few weeks, and she'd be just as drained as the rest of the staff here. This Fridays in particular was always busy even at 2AM when they tried to shut the place down. Putting her purse on the floor beside her, Mary looked at the menu and started to wonder if they needed to begin looking for a new place to date night at. They'd tried just about everything on the menu, in fact one night she dared Rhage (like an idiot) to eat everything on the menu. He almost did...and Mary was helping him inside the mansion. What a crazy night that was!
But just as quick as she thought of that, she shook her head and looked over the Jack Daniels starters. This was where all of it started with Mr. "Hal E. Wood" and nothing else felt quite right with him than being here. Well that and he would be all over protective if he didn't know every single employee by name and background check around her.
