Rhaine couldn't help but grin wide at Evee. She was just the most bubbly girl she'd ever met! Listening to all she said, Rhaine leaned her chin on her knuckles and just smiled, laughing softly as she finished. "Well it's nice to meet you Evee, I'm Rhaine. Let's see...half off glasses of wine huh..." Rhaine paused and looked down at the wine list then smiled looking up. "How about a glass of rose moscato to start, and a glass of water with it?"
Putting the wine list aside, she leaned back and looked at her outfit. "I think this was bought downtown in the boutique shop. I think...I didn't buy it, but thank you!" Laughing Rhaine crossed her legs just as her stomach growled, and her eyes widened hoping no one heard it. "Let me um...start off with just a house salad with italian dressing. I have to figure out which pasta sounds the most divine tonight." Winking, Rhaine stared at Evee wondering just what cute thing she'd say next.
Evee nodded. "Good choice, the moscato's here are to die for."
She smiled and nodded, jotting the house salad with Italian dressing down on her order pad. "Alrighty, glass of rose moscato and a water coming right up, along with your salad and Italian dressing!"
Evee winked. "Be right back!"
Evee turned and walked over to the computer, putting in the order. She walked around and poured a glass of the wine and a glass of ice water for Rhaine. She then heard the bell ring, which was perfect timing. The kitchen staff would be on top of it right now since it was the only table in the house. She took her tray and picked up the salad along with some breadsticks as a bonus, they were free anyway. Evee made her way back to the table, setting down the salad and breadsticks, followed by the wine and water. "I hope you enjoy everything. I'll give you a couple more minutes to look over the menu."
Evee smiled and made her way back to Reia, sitting down.
Things had finally settled down back at the office, and thankfully Vihktor hadn't needed to fly back to NYC after all. The source code of their new translation software was finally fixed and it rolled out to stores on time. Vihktor could relax and somehow, that meant he really didn't know what to do with himself. He realized he'd only really eaten once tonight, even if the taste of Evee was still on his lips from the park the other night. Sal's had seemed like a pretty nice place, and it had been a while since Vihktor had good Italian food, so he thought he'd give the place a shot.
Vihktor was dressed up for the occasion, looking more like a businessman than he usually presented. He was wearing his best black suit, the jacket open and the top two buttons of his white shirt unbuttoned. He was off work, after all. With his hands in the pockets of his slacks, Vihktor made his way into the restaurant and was pretty quickly seated. He grinned a little as he spotted Ehnvee working, and he saw a redhead he wasn't familiar with. He turned down the first table that was offered in hopes that he might sit closer to the redhead, partially in case the first table was outside of Ehnvee's section. The hostess acquiesced without a fuss and Vihktor was seated a table away from the redhead currently giving her order to Ehnvee. Vihktor gave Evee a wink as he settled in, picking up the two menus sat before him and pouring over his options.
She got up and walked over to Vihktor and blushed. "Feeling like Italian tonight?"
Evee smiled softly and couldn't believe she'd see him again so soon. They hadn't made any plans and she was hoping she'd get a message on her phone or something. "We have specials on our wine's tonight, all our glasses are half off."
She leaned against the table on her side and faced Vihktor, smiling like she'd just won a million dollars.
Vihktor smirked at Ehnvee over the menu before putting it down, letting his gaze sweep along her body. He licked his lips and grinned. "Pasta seemed like the most filling thing... I'm glad I came, now." He grinned as she talked about the special, licking his lips. "That sounds excellent. How about a glass of Pinot Noir to start off, then? And..." He paused, looking over the menu again. He was sure he'd butcher the language, but when in Rome, right? "How about an appetizer to start off... Carpacio Di Filetto?" The menu described it as thinly sliced raw beef tenderloin with parmesan, onions and capers. The mention of raw beef made Vihktor's stomach grumble and he grinned, nodding. "Yeah, let's start with that, and see where the night takes me." He laughed a little, putting the menu down but keeping it close so she wouldn't accidentally take it. "So, you work here huh? Maybe I'll come by more often." He winked and licked his lips slowly.
She licked her lips softly and then smiled. "Yeah, I work here during the week, I've got two jobs. I guess we didn't really talk too much about my work did we?"
Evee sighed. "I'll be back with your win and appetizer."
She smirked and turned to walk away. Glad she was wearing her tighter black pants tonight. She punched in his orders on the computer and then walked behind the bar to pour him his glass, filling it a little higher then normal. Evee kept raising her eyes to check him out at his booth while she waited. Suddenly the dinner bell rang. Evee walked over and grabbed his raw meat along with a basket of breadsticks with his wine. She made it back to his table and set everything down. "I'll let you have a couple minutes to look over the menu for your meal."
She wanted to wink at him but wouldn't. Instead she turned to head to Rhaine's table to see if she was ready. On the way she looked at Reia and mouthed, "OH MY GOD."
When Evee got to Rhaine's table she smiled and put a hand down, leaning against it. "Have any ideas for dinner?"
Rhaine was humming to herself, tapping her foot on the leg of the table when she spotted Evee putting down her salad and wine. "Okay this just looks way too amazing." Nodding as Evee left, her gaze landed on the male that walked in and she smiled, giving a polite nod at him just as he walked by. Picking up her water, she took a small sip letting the cold liquid soothe her dry throat. Sometimes water was the best drink ever, but her eyes were set on the wine. Lowering the glass, she picked up her wine and smelled it. Oh it smelled so heavenly. Slightly fruity, light, perfect. Taking a sip, she moaned lightly and leaned back in her seat, just savoring the flavor. Truth be told she hadn't had any alcohol at home since moving into the mansion. She had no idea how her Father would take her drinking, she didn't know him that well in that department. Of course she saw all the Brothers guzzling liquor like it was soda but she was trying to maintain some sort of innocence. Ha.
After a few more sips, she put down her glass and picked up her fork. She took a bite of her salad, and smiled at the dressing. She loved when it was less vinegar and more seasoning and this was perfect. As she chewed slowly and quietly, she heard the gentleman ordering and noticed Evee's change in voice. Oh she liked this guy, and he was handsome. But Rhaine was not feeling the sexual push for a man, because at this time she had just met Lhust and that was...oh she was more than enough woman. She glanced over her shoulder just as the gentleman ordered and smiled. He did seem really friendly though.
Finishing up her salad, she picked her menu up once more and finally decided on a main course. Oh man was she getting full tonight. "Actually yes! Can I get the baked ziti, with extra cheese?" Rhaine looked up at Evee then laughed softly. "You're blushing. You got a thing for him?" She nodded and spoke quietly.
She looked around and blushed. "We met the other night. We've been intimate, but not really. It's all rather confusing."
She smiled and wrote down her order. "Okay, baked ziti, extra cheese. Will do! I'll have my friend Reia bring over more bread while I put your order in."
Evee smiled and turned away, walking over to Reia. "Hey, can you fish up some more bread from the back for me for that table for the woman? I'm going to put her order in. And did you see him! I can't believe he's here right now..."
Reia looked up looking over to Ehvee and she would nod sliding out of the booth " I did see him, and I can do that... but if I do this you have to ask him if he would be interested in seeing you after your shift, since its over in an hour" she grinned wickedly moving off into the kitchen in an attempt not to give her a chance to argue the terms.
Reia moved back grabbing fresh baked bread, cutting it and placing it in the basket with the two little small bowls of butter and garlic butter before heading out into the dining room, so it was the table with the ...female right, she nodded to herself heading to the females table " Good evening" she grinned setting the bread onto the table " is there anything else I can get you while you're waiting for your order?"
Vihktor couldn't help but grin as he watched Ehnvee walk away. Her pants were tight, fitting her like a second skin, and he certainly wasn't complaining. He picked up the dinner menu and sipped his wine, groaning softly as it practically melted its way down his throat. He picked up a piece of beef and popped it into his mouth, and it was like heaven. It was almost like he could taste the field where the cattle grazed, feel the sun that they felt... He laughed at himself a little. Others would probably think him crazy if he talked like that out loud.
Vihktor opened his eyes slowly and looked around. The music was soft and soothing in this place, and he couldn't quite place the tune. It sounded like it might be authentic. He took in the decor as he ran his fingertips over his wine glass, his eyes falling once again on the table with the rather cute redhead. He saw her talking in hushed tones to Evee and smirked. He'd put good money on them talking about him, but he didn't strain to listen in. He simply watched, quietly. He was enjoying the people he'd met in town so far, and was rather happy that he'd come across many beautiful women. He was going to like it here he felt.
Shaking her head, Rhaine smiled and looked up at the new waitress that came by. "Oh I'm fine for now. The bread smells incredible. I was hoping you guys had something like this but you never know who does what these days. You know?" Laughing, Rhaine watched as Evee seemed to be floating off the ground, and she couldn't help but continue to smile. "She's really adorable. Please tell me you're trying to hook them up." Her gaze fell back and she once more locked eyes with the gentleman, making her wink before turning back once more to the server.
Vihktor smirked as the redhead spotted him and winked, giving her a half-cocked smile in return. She seemed feisty, though that could just be the redhead stereotype. When she turned back to the other girl... Reia, he believed her name was, Vihktor looked down at his food. He broke a piece of bread in half and made a makeshift sandwich with the beef and onions and capers, spreading it over the bread and moaning softly as he took the first bite. If the appetizer was this good, he couldn't wait for the meal. To that end, he picked up his menu again and began to study it more carefully. There were so many good choices, he wasn't sure how he'd decide.
Evee glared at Reia, but couldn't hold it and smiled and laughed. "Fine! Fine, fine, fine!"
She walked up to the computer and punched everything in, watching Reia deliver bread and stop to talk to Rhaine. She couldn't believe she was ganged up on. She had to make the first move, which was really scary to her. What if he said no? Well, Reia did say earlier she'd go out with her. Evee sighed and walked back to Vic's table and smiled. "Figure out what you'd like for dinner."
She winked, but wasn't sure if he caught it. Would she turn on the so called charm? That's what they called it right? Evee smiled and leaned against the table, watching Vihktor check out the menu. "No rush if you're not ready yet...I actually was going to ask, nevermind. No rush, like I said."
Reia smiled as she looked over to Ehnvee and then back to the woman at the table and she grinned " Oh yeah, I am trying to push her far far into his comfort zone and out of hers, like bringing you bread I told her she had to ASK HIM TO DO SOMETHING AFTER WORK" she spoke a little bit louder...not yelling but well emphasized hoping he would either hear it and hold her to it, or she would hear it realizing that people were paying attention and she wasn't allowed to chicken out...
" Of course if she chickens out I might just have to go ask him to go out bring her along and then do the hollywood thing and suddenly remember I have plans" she giggled raising her brow as she looked to Ehnvee a moment before turning her head back to the females.
" Enjoy your bread " she grinned and started to head back to the booth so she could watch without watching in the mirror over the bar.
Vic smirked as Evee stumbled over herself in her words. He'd caught her wink, licking his lips slowly as he looked over the menu one last time. "Actually I think I've decided. I'll have the..." He paused for a moment, looking at it again. "I'll start with a caesar salad, thenTor Tellini Aurora, and the 14oz Medaglioni Di Manzo Alla Pizzaiola." His stomach rumbled as he ordered. The beef was so tender, so fresh here... he couldn't wait to see what it was like cooked up in a meal.
He heard Reia's voice raise and grinned a little, giving Ehnvee a little smirk but not saying anything.
