Evee pictures Vihktor stalking his prey in the middle of a forest. She had no idea why she pictured a lion when he mentioned larger prey. She couldn't help but get hot, imagining him using a dagger and taking them down. She squirmed a little in her seat. "Wow. That sounds ho- er, scary."
She took a big drink of her water. Was it getting hot in here? She sat back and put her hands on her thighs, pinching herself to distract herself. "Have you ever run into any trouble hunting? I can't imagine a place around here that has that type of hunting scene."

Vihktor chuckled softly and licked his lips, leaning back in his chair again. "Upstate there's some decent hunting grounds, and up into Canada you've got some fun prey..." He laughed a little and shook his head. "No... well, actually yeah, I guess you could say I have." He chuckled and relaxed, one arm coming back to rest against the back of his chair. "A few years back I was hunting and apparently I stumbled across some popular hunting grounds. Couple of human hunters mistook me for a bear, I guess. Took a shotgun blast to the stomach and thigh. Luckily he was aiming low." He laughed a little and shook his head. "Still took a while to heal from that one, and I had to take off running so they didn't come looking for me."

The blood drained from Ehnvee's face as she thought about him getting shot. She shook her head. "Maybe you shouldn't do that anymore..."
She took another drink of water, trying to calm herself. He had gotten shot, in the stomach and thigh?! Stupid fucking humans. How dare they shoot at him, he did not look like a bear! Well, he was very broad, and big, and strong, but he wasn't hairy!

Vihktor laughed and shook his head. "No fun if it isn't a little dangerous!" He winked and picked up his water glass, finishing off the melting ice from it. "You know, they probably don't want us keeping a table when we're not eating anymore..." He laughed and looked around, his eyes landing on the door before he looked back at Evee.

Evee frowned a little and then nodded. "Yeah, you're probably right. I guess I should let you go instead of blabbering about."
She smiled and looked down at her phone, wondering if they should exchange numbers or if they'd continue this conversation elsewhere.

Vihktor sighed, his phone beeping to indicate a message. He picked it up and growled under his breath, standing and taking Ehnvee's hand. He kissed the back of her hand gently, smiling into her eyes. "I am afraid that I really need to call my associates back, and really hammer this tech issue down. But we certainly need to do this again soon." He put enough cash down on the table to pay for both of their meals and tip, giving Ehnvee an apologetic look as he put the phone up to his ear and called the company. He was so focused on the call that he forgot to get Ehnvee's number, talking in hushed but angry tones as he headed out the door towards his car.

Ehnvee was going to pay for her half but Vihktor stormed out of the restaurant, obviously unhappy with his employees. She felt bad for them, but at the same time she knew he had high expectations. She gently got up and quickly pulled her hair back into a tight ponytail before heading out of the Garden to head to the gym. As she passed by the table with the DJ she smiled shyly.
