Brinn laughed shaking her head a little as she looked at the waitress " Can I get two of the large size rubins please and curly fries with jalapeno ranch dressing please" she grinned and she would look to him she couldn't believe his story and she would shake her head taking a deep breath
" You have quite the story, and your name where did that come from?" she would smile she liked that he was talking so steadily and she really didn't feel like she was pulling the words out of him like she had with even just some of her male friends, or her ex hellren in the beginning of things.
" I um, so was what happen the other night a first for you also, or do you normally try things like that?" she was curious she had to admit.

Elixe listened to her order and smiled. “Ill take the New Yorker” It was if favorite corn beef and pastrami in one sandwich how could he ever turn it down. When she brought up there first night he smirked and shook his head. “Oh yeah all the time I mean every Friday night. Who doesn’t” he laughed and shook his head. “Sorry I know bad joke…yeah that was a first time…was interesting to say the least.” He looked at his glass of water then to here. “What about you…”

Brinn shook her head as she looked to him " Sorry if that is too personal a question, but no I haven't before " she would shrug a little bit as she sipped her drink
" I'm glad I can say that I did, it was great, though I think more often then not I will likely stick to one on one, there is something just that much more intimate about it," she blushed
" But then I like trying new things to" she would offer a smile glancing around the restaurant not really sure what else to ask... okay so she was rusty she should have expected that.
" So um, what do you do for fun?"

Elixe looked at her and sighed digging in to his back and pulled out a small box that was a deck of playing cards. “Second time you asked that tonight.” He smiled and began to shuffle the cards quickly and nearly in a showboat fashion that Casino Card Shark would do. “and the answer hasn't changed” he laughed to show that he wasn't annoyed by it or anything but he also didn't want this to fizzle out into a silence. His eyes moved with the cards then he looked back at her. “The game is Black Jack…do you know it? Also known as 21?” He dealt them each 2 cards and waited for her to confirm before he spoke again. “After everything we done it really shouldn't be the hard to talk to one another, but its fine I am nervous as well…I think that is a good thing. I have been out of it so damn long” He laughed and looked at his two card and his eyes did a small wince thing and he looked back at her. “Hit or stay?’

Brinn looked to him and she blushed " I'm sorry, I am nervous and I haven't been on a date in over 130 years.... and our versions of date at the time was deliverying babies and helping people who needed it in pour villages" she would sigh looking around as he brought out a deck of cards and she couldn't help feeling a little defeated.
" I'm sorry if you aren't having fun... or if you would rather just take the food to go... I would fully understand" she would shake her head a little bit
" And no I don't know how to play this game" if he explained it she would nod watching him start to deal.

Elixe explained the game and smiled. “Don’t think im not having fun…The game is a distraction” He smiled kindly and looked into her eyes. “See your playing a game, not thinking on the date portion of it…maybe…makes you less nervous but. Now neither one of us will over think things” he waited a moment Then double checked his cards hoping they had magically changed. “So Aim for 21 as a sum total of the cards…Aces being high and low. Hit or stay?”

Brinn nodded listening as he explained how to play the game and she would pause " Isn't this one of those games people normally put bets to" she was curious because it really seemed like one of those games that should be bet against though she wasn't sure how the odds would work if that was the case.
With a small smile she would lift her cards seeing what her undercard was, and she didn't think it was the worse thing in the world, she had 15 total which meant she needed a 6 or less which didn't give her the best odds in the world... She would think for a moment before biting her bottom lip " I think it was a smart idea, the cards... and I think I would like another card"

Elixe looked at her and nodded. "Yeah Normally people wager on this" he laughed half expecting her to make a bet at that point Then he smiled wider when he told it was a good idea for the card. "Glad you think so cause i was just making it up as i went...it was all in theory" He place her another card and waited. "Care to make a bet then" he smiled looking at her curiously. He had an idea for a fair enough wager that could be fun. Although it seemed childish when he really thought on it.

Brinn grinned looking up to Elixe " I would be fine to put wagers on it" she would offer a small smile as she looked to the card going the math in her head to make sure she wanted to even take a bet on this one...she always did like the song the gambler and thought it offered smart advice.
She would take a moment, okay so it wasn't great but she had 19 which she had to think was on the better end of things so she would bite her bottom lip for a moment " I bet you one kiss " she grinned it seemed silly but it was the best thing that she could think of " and the location will be decided by the winner" she would shake her head a little bit as she waited for his response.
Brinn sipped at her water a she waited for him to call, raise or fold.

Elixe smiled and looked at her then down to his cards one more time. “I raise you, a Date. As in a more thought out less…on the spot date.” He waited to see if she would go for that or not then smiled. “So hit again or stay?” he stayed with his cards he just wanted to bluff it a little his eyes drifted over tot eh kitchen window ands watched their order be placed up.

Brinn looked over to him, and she would take a deep breath as she flipped up her cards just enough that she could see them once more thinking about what he was raising and she would grin a little bit as she looked around " I guess I will go along with one date and yes please I will take a card"
It was a risk to take another one but she wasn't going to lose, and if she was going to lose then she want to lose with gusto! She would take a deep breath waiting to see what the card was. When she got the card she sighed a little bit she had 20 which was better than going over but she had been hoping to get 21 at the very least but she guest beggars couldn't be choosers.
" So do you like to go swimming? And I bet you another date"

Elixe looked at her and dealt her next card. When her question came about swimming he shrugged. “I haven’t gone swimming in so long…I think the last time I did was before it became a danger to swim in rivers and lakes and what not” he flipped in cards over to show he had 19. He sighed and looked to see her cards. Then smiled. “Looks like I owe ya a date and a kiss” he smirked and then like it was planned their waitress showed up to drop their food off in front of them.

Brinn smiled to him her eyes looking over to him " I guess you do, I think I like this and I think I will plan it even " she giggled a little bit as she saw the waitress bringing over their food. She made quick work of cleaning up the cards she didn't want them to get ruined after all, maybe they could play some more since that seemed to help their nerves, she knew she felt better anyway.
Brinn would take a sip of her drink before finding a way to grip her sandwhich, her eyes looking over to him with a small smile " so is there any video games that you likes to play more than others, like first person shooters I think those are what most people play these days isn't it"

Elixe looked at her and took a bite of his sandwich and shrugged with a swallow. “I tend to stick to the Adventure games when I do…that way it kind of like just a movie…that I get to play the outcome of” he laughed knowing he was revealing the more childish side of him. Knowing in his apartment he had a wall dedicated the figurines and statues of comic book heroes and collector editions of games. Like the Giant robot that came with his most recent purchase. “Plus more of a Collector then I am actually Gamer…” he sighed and shook his head. “I guess I am a nerd”

Brinn looked to him and she would laugh a little bit as she started munching on her sandwich and she grinned mulling it over as she chewed " Okay so I think I know where I am going to be coming more often" she laughed sipping her water to help wash it down.
" I don't think that there is wrong with collecting stuff or being a nerd, I love to read and shop... and I am sure I probably have more clothing than you do figurines... so I can't exactly judge now can I" she giggled as she looked around a bit shyly.
Brinn was trying to think of what they could do for their date, there was so many things that she could think of but the key was going to be finding things that they both enjoyed, though she was starting to think he didn't get out much so maybe she should plan an in house date as it were...it would have to be at his since she doubted he would be allowed in the compound but well that was fine that could have its own benefits.
" So what is your work week like, so I know better when to plan the date?"
