Elixe shrugged. “Well I work from home mostly. So My work week is really really open…so that is on you…there is a slim to none chance you will catch me when im busy.” he laughed a little and took a drink of his water Thinking for a moment he was currently unemployed and no-one has his him with any new projects for things. “Nope ill probably spend all week home with Bear unless you call me for that date” he laughed then thought for a moment. “Bear is my dog…by the way…just to throw that out there…” there it was the over thinking and nervousness setting back in on his mind.

Brinn smiled looking over to him " Bear huh, thats' cute. Is he a big dog or a smaller rat size thing" she laughed a little picking up her sandwich to eat more of it and she dipped it in the horseradish to try it with a small puzzled look.
Brinn smirked " Oh that's good I am going to have to find out how to make this or find it in the store so I can try more things with it, like roast beef" she paused pondering the aspect of what she could make with it.
" Okay well that makes it easier, and you do not mind if I take over your kitchen since I hear males love a girl who can cook " she finished off her first sandwich and moved onto the second one.

Elixe pulled out his phone and pulled up a picture of a English bulldog laying with his tongue out and slid it towards her. “That’s Bear…Laziest, most lovable dog I have ever met” He laughed and little and put his phone back in his pocket when she was done looking.
“As for cooking for me, if that’s what you want to call a date I wont complain…but I could also point out I lived alone a long time, I can cook as well…” he laughed some then took a bite of his sandwich. He didn’t mind a woman who could cook but he didn’t think it a quality needed fro attraction and even found the idea of it stereotypical and slightly sad in a ‘women belong in the kitchen’ way. “Perhaps I could…cook for you even if you see fit”

Brinn looked over to him and she laughed a little it " I never said you couldn't cook, and when it is your turn to plan a date you're welcome to decide to cook....but since I get to pick I would like to cook for you and see if I can win myself some points" she winked laughing a little bit.
" Besides haven't you ever heard that expression, the way to a man's heart is through his stomach" she would smirk leaning back as she looked around the place and she swore that this was going well because she wasn't noticing people leaving till it seemed like they had done so in mass.
" He's cute, your dog... I haven't' had the chance to look at getting a pet yet... but i'm not sure where I live if they would let me really anyway since I just moved in and I tend to like staying out" she sipped her water shrugging a little bit.

Elixe looked at her and finished his glass of water with a smirk. “through my stomach…sounds like a easy road…I mean I might look good and all, but I have a serious inner fatty” he laughed a little. He was intrigued by the idea of her cooking or well wanting to cook for him. He had been alone for so long it would be interesting to not have to cook for himself for a change.
“Yeah Bear, is cute lazy but makes up for it in cute” He laughed a little. “but I suppose you will be meeting him soon since your coming to cook for me” he smiled.

Brinn smiled shaking her head " i think I am going to have to get me a puppy after seeing yours, he is just so cute, and the owner isn't so bad himself"
She grinned looking over at the clock and she would take a deep breath finishing her water before standing and dropping cash down onto the table for the bill, smiling " well I have to get up earlier then normal to surprise my son since he keeps pulling these disappearing acts on me... but I will text you to arrange that dinner or you can text me...whatever happens first" she winked laughing rather excited at the prospect.
She would lean down and kiss his cheek before waving and leaving to head home. Call a good thing before it gets stale.
**Brinn leaves the restaurant, dematerializing home from the back alleyway**
